Lake Van

Lake Van is the largest lake in the country, taking place in the Van and Bitlis Provinces. It is one of the few endorheic lakes, which means that the lake has no outlet, in the world. It has been known that the lake was formed after the volcanic eruption in Mount Nemrut during the prehistoric era. Recently, it is the symbol of the region.
