Lala Mustafa Pasha Mosque

The Lala Mustafa Pasha Mosque was originally the Cathedral of Saint Nicholas. It was built and consecrated as a Catholic cathedral in the 13th century. When the Ottomans captured Famagusta in the 16th century, they converted it to a mosque and renamed it "Lala Mustafa Pasha", who was the Grand Vizier of Sultan Murad III.
