Malabadi Bridge

Malabadi Bridge is a historical tourist site situated in Diyarbakir Province. It was built during the Artuqids period in 1147 by Timurtas Bin-i Ilgazi. It is a bridge seven meters wide and 150 meters long, which makes it the widest arch among stone bridges in Turkey and the near east. On both sides of the arch, there are two rooms situated to be used as shelters by the caravan and passengers, especially during the harsh winter days.
