Malatya Beskonaklar Etnography Museum and Traditional Malatya House

Beskonaklar Museum is located in Malatya Province, east of Anatolia, in the city center. It consists of five adjoining houses of classical Turkish architecture built at the beginning of the 1900s. The houses are well preserved and display local civil architectural features like a leaf door, pantry, room, and courtyard. The museum was opened for visits in 2008, and traditional handicrafts that are unique to the Malatya region, such as textile printings, clothing, and accessories, lighting, measuring instruments, edged weapons, and unique seals of Malatya, can be seen.
