Monaco

Monaco's shoreline is barely 4.1 kilometers long. It is famous for its casino, yacht-lined port, and the prestigious Grand Prix motor race, which takes place once a year through the streets of Monaco. Monte Carlo which sits on a rocky promontory known as The Rock or Le Rocher and is home to the casino complex, the ornate opera house, and many deluxe hotels plus restaurants, boutiques, and nightclubs, Monaco-Ville with its medieval village atmosphere where most of the streets have no vehicular traffic, La Condamine on the other hand in the port quarter with its traditional markets and Fontvieille are the popular destinations in Monaco. The Palais Princier on the Rock/Le Rocher also can be visited with a guide.
