Museum Of Republic Of Ankara

The Museum of the Republic was opened in 1981 in the building, which was designed and built in 1923 by the architect Vedat Tek as a gathering venue for the People’s Republic Party. Between 1924 and 1960, the building that housed the Turkish Grand National Assembly witnessed some of the most important Turkish Republic happenings. All of these documents and artifacts from the republic's history can be found in the collection. One of the rare artifacts in the collection is probably the microphone where Ataturk read his 10th Anniversary Speech.
