Niksar is a district in Tokat in Turkey, formerly known as Neocaesarea. The region has fertile lands where so many kinds of greens can be grown, thus being called the "Cukurova of the North-Anatolia". It was included in the World Heritage tentative list in 2018 and the Ulu Mosque, Camici Plateau, Niksar Castle, and Yagibasan Madrasa are places worth seeing.
