Pasabagi Valley

The fairy chimneys in Pasabagi Valley are the only ones of their kind, with their triangle hats. The valley is known as "The Monks Valley" formerly. In the valley, the multi-bodied and multiheaded chimney was dedicated to Saint Simeon as a chapel. Inside the chapel, which was decorated with crucifixes, ovens, sitting quarters, and sleeping areas, visitors can explore. According to myth, while Saint Simeon was living in Halep (Syria), when the rumors occurred that he could create miracles, he had started to live on top of a column and only came down to take a very small amount of food. After you visit the valley, you can watch the view and rest in cafes at Akpete Hill.
