Pigeon Valley

Pigeon Valley, with its unique image, the visiting sites, and being on the transit route of hot air balloons, and trekking tracks, is one of the most visited sites in the Cappadocia region. For centuries, the locals fed pigeons to use their fertilizer in farming and used their eggs in the plaster casts of the frescoes. Therefore the valley, facades of the houses, and fairy chimneys are full of pigeon nests. Visitors can watch the landscape, hot air balloon flights, or trek and visit the waterfall in the valley.
