Pillar Church

Pillar Church is a cave church that dates back to 976–1025, during Basileios II and Constantine VIII's reigns. It is located in the Aksaray province of the Cappadocia region. The church contains two archangels and depictions of Peter and Paul on the main dome, Mary in the middle of the lower strip, Mary and child Jesus on the north side apse dome, Zechariah, Joakim, and two angels on the sides.
