Quince’s Church

Quince Church is located in the Güllüdere Valley in the Cappadocia region. It is one of the classical cave churches thought to have been built in the 9th century. Scenes from the life of Jesus and the Bible can be seen in the frescoes in both the north and south chapels. Also, in the chapel to the south, the Byzantine Emperor Constantine and his mother Helena are depicted with a cross they claim to be the holy cross, which they found in Jerusalem.
