Rhodes Greece

Rhodes is the historical capital and the greatest island of the Dodecanese islands of Greece. It takes place in the Aegean Sea, northeast of Crete and southeast of Athens. It has a few nicknames, for instance, Island of the Sun, The Pearl Island, and The Island of the Knights. In the ancient era, it was the home of the Colossus of Rhodes, which is one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. It is a Unesco Heritage Site and, with its medieval city texture, one of the most popular travel destinations in Europe.
