Rize Castle
Rize castle consists of four sections, which are the inner, exterior, upper, and walls. However, the down portion of it almost disappeared. There is no certain information about who built it first; however, it has been known that it was rebuilt between 527 and 565 by the Eastern Roman Emperor Justinian the Great. At present, the tea fields surround the castle, and from the walls and towers, an amazing Black Sea landscape can be seen.
