Rustem Pasha Bedesten

Bedesten is a bazaar located in Erzurum Province, known as Tashan among the locals. It was built in 1561 by Rustem Pasha, who was the son-in-law and Grand Vizier of Sultan Suleyman the Magnificent. It is still a vibrant bazaar and various jewelry and prayer beads can be found, which are produced by local artisans.
