Sahindere Martyrdom

Due to the presence of water and shade trees in the region on the Gallipoli Peninsula and the fact that the region is a calm and sheltered area, one of the large first aid tents and/or a field hospital, were also established here. Turkish soldiers who were wounded in the battles were treated here, and the dead were buried, later, the place was turned into a martyrdom where people can visit and pay their respects.
