Sehidiye Madrasa

Sehidiye Madrasa was thought to be built by Artuqid Sultan Melik Nasreddin Artuk Aslan during the early 13th century in Mardin. Throughout history, so many sections were added to the Madrasa and it can be said that only a few pieces were left behind. There is no reliable information about the architect; however, it has been known that Armenian architect Serkis Lole built the minaret in between 1916-17 in an eclectic style. Today the porch, courtyard, iwan, and mosque can be visited.
