Sehzadeler Museum

The Sehzadeler (Ottoman Prince) Museum is housed in a classical Ottoman mansion in the Yaliboyu - Amasya Province. According to tradition, Ottoman Sehzades were first commissioned in the regions of the empire, and Amasya was one of the most important ones among them. Thus, so many princes were living in Amasya for a while. On the upper floor of the museum, the states of the ottoman princes Yildirim Bayezid, Celebi Mehmet, Murat II, Fatih Sultan Mehmet, Bayezid II, Yavuz Sultan Selim, and Murat III, who were all then rule the empire, can be seen. On the lower floor the statues of the princes who were commissioned in Amasya but could not rule the empire, such as Suleiman the Magnificent's sons Mustafa II and Bayezid, and Murat Han's sons Ahmet and Alaeddin, take place.
