Simena

Simena has been a coastal settlement since the 4th century by the Lycians, and today it can be reached only by sea. It is a rare settlement that has been very well preserved until today. In the district, a 300-seat theater, which is the smallest theater in all the Lycian cities, temples, and tombs, and the well-known Medieval Castle, which was built to protect the inhabitants from the pirates, can be visited. Travelers can reach the district by boat from the Kas, Demre, or Ucagiz regions.
