St. Paul's Church Museum (Tarsus St.Paul Memorial Museum)
St. Paul Church Museum was a church built in the 19th century. It was probably built on the ruins of a former church from the Middle Ages. It takes place in Tarsus Mersin Province, and a comprehensive restoration was completed in 2001. The interior decoration is worth seeing. The museum was added to the Unesco World Heritage Tentative List with the well in its garden. The common belief is that the well has sacred, healing water. After Pope Benedict XVI declared 2009 "The Year of St. Paul", the museum and the well became popular, and since then, Christians have been visiting the site for pilgrimage.
