St. Sophia Church

The interior of the church is decorated with several admiring paintings and frescoes, which are depictions of Christos Pantokrator (Jesus the Almighty) style, reflecting his divine side. A frieze of angels takes place above it, and on the pendants, the scenes of the birth of Jesus, his baptism, his crucifixion, and the apocalypse are depicted. The creation of Adam and Eve takes place on the south facade in a frieze in relief, and the single-headed eagle motif, which is the symbol of the Komnenos Dynasty, can be seen too.
