Suleyman Pasha Madrasa

The Suleyman Pasha Madrasa is located in Iznik, Bursa province, which was the capital of the Ottomans for more than a hundred years. It was built by the eldest son of Orhan Gazi, Prince Suleyman, whose nickname is' Conqueror of Rumelia ', in 1359. It is a classical-style madrasa, however, one of the first ones built without the influence of Seljuk architecture. Today, it is a market where historical handicrafts can be found.
