Tatvan

Tatvan is one of the districts of Bitlis Province, in Eastern Anatolia. It is, at the same time, the intersection point of the provinces of Diyarbakir, Van, Elazig, Siirt, and Agri. The ferry services between Van and Tatvan, as well as it is situated on the Haydarpasa (Istanbul)-Iran Railway route, contributed to the city's rapid development. The Nemrut Crater Lake, Kalekiran Castle, Tatvan Ski Center, Urartian Rock Tombs, and El Aman Cervansarai are the attractions of the district.
