The Green Tomb

The Green Tomb is the mausoleum of Ottoman Sultan Mehmed I and was built by his successor and son, Sultan Murad II, in 1421. It takes place in Bursa Province, across from the Yesil Mosque, and was designed by architect Haci Ivaz Pasha. It is a hexagonal tomb with a hemispherical dome and decorated with Kutahya and Iznik tiles.
