The Lycian Way

The Lycian Way is a worldwide known trekking route around the world, located between Fethiye district and Antalya in Turkey. The route is 535 kilometers in total and was discovered in the 1990s. According to Stadiasmus Patarensis, which is an inscription, Lycia was a Roman province in 43 AD, including 69 roads and 53 cities in the region. It is one of the most popular trekking routes both in Turkey and around the world. In 2007, the Gelidonya Lighthouse, which is located along the route, revealed Turkey's most beautiful view.
