The Tiled Kiosk Museum

The Tiled Kiosk is within the walls of Topkapi Palace in Istanbul's old city. It was built in 1472, during Mehmet the Conqueror's reign. The Kiosk is a civic Ottoman architecture sample, but its style is under Seljukian influences. In the 1880s, the Kiosk housed the Imperial Museum, known as Muze-i Humayun. In 1939, the museum was moved, and today it is a section of the Istanbul Archeological Museum. Visitors can see the amazing Seljukian and Ottoman tiles in the museum.
