The Torumtay Mausoleum
Torumtay Mausoleum is situated in Amasya Province, right across from the Gok Madrasa. It was built in 1278 as the tomb of the Amasya governor, Seyfeddin Torumtay. It was built from cut stone, has a rectangular plan, and is covered with a vault. It can be said that the architectural features of the mausoleum are quite different from the period's other Seljuk tombs.
