Tirilye

Tirilye is a historical town located in the Mudanya district of Bursa Province. It was ruled by the Mysians, Thracians, Ancient Romans, Byzantines, and Ottomans throughout history. Due to the inscriptions found in the region that belong to the cults of Apollo, Zeus, and Cybele in the region, it is thought that Tirilye was a Megara colony. Fatih Mosque, which was constructed as a church in 710 AD, the neoclassical style New Stone School (Tas Mektep), the 19th century Greek complex Yperagia Theotokos, and Panagia Pantobasilissa (Lady Queen of All) Church can be seen in the town. Also, Agios Georgios Ano (Dundar House) and the monasteries Hagios Sergios, Agios Ioannis, Batheos Rhyakos Soteros, and Christ-Sauveur can be visited in the region.
