Tortum Waterfall

Tortum Waterfalls take place in Erzurum Province on the northeast side of Turkey. The waterfall was formed in the 1700s by a large landslide mass that separated from Kemerlidag and closed the Tev Valley, where Tortum Stream flows. Its altitude is 1,000 meters. In the months of May and June, it reaches its highest intensity of flow, and after June, it slows down. The waterfall and the area around it are a picnic and promenade place where everybody can spend time.
