Because of its elevation, Antsirabe stays cooler than lowland Madagascar throughout the year, and nights can turn genuinely cold during the dry season from June to September. The dry months bring the clearest weather for walking around town and out to the lakes, while November through March brings warmer temperatures alongside a greater chance of rain.
