french to englishThis yellow sandstone massif, located in the center-west of the island, is made up of high plateaus still partly covered by forest or shrub/herbaceous vegetation typical of the dry environments of western Madagascar . Very significant erosion has carved these plateaus with deep canyons, which contain humid vegetation similar to that of the evergreen forests of eastern Madagascar. However, life has developed in these valleys which are several hundred meters deep, in total autarky for millions of years: there are indeed all the possible ecological niches.These biotopes, isolated and exempt from any human observation, allowed groups of ancestral animals and plants to differentiate themselves, to the point of giving birth to new species.

The Tsingy de Bemaraha strict nature reserve is a protected area in western Madagascar located in the Malaky region and listed since 1990 on the UNESCO world heritage list.  

An itinerary along the National Road number 7 (RN7) with highland landscapes. Large cliffs dot the green mountains and small villages with friendly people. Parks and reserves will be visited on this trip, including Ranomafana National Park, Isalo National Park, Anja Village Reserve and Reniala Nature Reserve. There are several species of lemurs, chameleons, endemic plants and even birds. After the parks, you will continue the trip by hiking in the famous granite massif of Tsaranoro before reaching Ifaty then Tuléar for the return to the capital.

A real adventure in the heart of the Manambolo River. Discover the beautiful scenery of the Highlands before heading down the river with smiling villagers. Then, we head to the Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park, one of the best sites in the World! The area contains different species of lemurs, birds and endemic plants. We continue towards the famous baobab Avenue at sunset before arriving in the town of Morondava.

This tour in the west of Madagascar takes you to the Tsingy de Bemaraha, a large limestone massif, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1990. To get there, you will have to go through the manufacturers of aluminum casseroles in Ambatolampy, the craft workshops and finally a river trip on the Tsiribihina River. During the adventure, you will be able to see the endemic species of Madagascar, swim in a beautiful natural swimming pool without forgetting the party organized by the villagers.
