6 Days Didyma Historical Tour Turkey

(Breakfast included ) Pick up from your hotel and depart to Didim City tour. First stop will be Priene.This was once a harbour city but is now located 16 km inland from the sea on the hills of the Mykale Mountain. The theatre in Priene is one of the most beautiful ones from The Hellenic World. The Athena Polias Temple was by Alexander The Great as a gift to the city. Then next stop will be Miletos.Visit the ancient city of Miletos which once was one of the biggest cities in Anatolia. It was located on the trade routes.Then we will visit to Miletos Museum. The last stop is Didyma. This was not a city but a temple dedicated to Apollon. It was reconstructed once one of the biggest temples in the Hellenic World. After the tour transfer back to your hotel in Didim.

(Breakfast and Lunch Included) Pick up from your hotel and depart to Ephesus Ancient City tour. Visit to Ephesus, Ephesus is an exceptional testimony to the cultural traditions of the Hellenistic, Roman Imperial and early Christian periods. Ephesus is an important site for Christianity; being one of the seven Churches of Revelation. Apostle Paul probably spent two and half years in Ephesus during his third missionary journey. In two hours, you will be exploring the city by walking on the marble streets, accompanied by our English speaking tour guide. In our tour, we will be seeing the odeon,state agora,the prytaneion,the memmius monument,the domatian temple,Hercules gate,curetes street,the Hadrian temple and the latriens. we will carry on with our exploration with the Celsus library,marble road,commercial agora,great theather, and arcadiane (harbour road). After Ephesus City our guide will give you free time for lunch. we will visit a place which continues to perform one of the oldest arts of Turkey; a carpet weaving centre. After that we will visit the Artemis Temple one of the seven wonders of the world. The guide will give small information about the Temple and then departure to Turkish Sirince Village. Sirince is an old village of ‘the Byzantine Greeks situated on the hills of Selcuk and 7 km from Ephesus. As part of the peace pact after the Turkish national war (1919-1922), a formal exchange of Turkish and Greeks, was agreed upon and Sirince is inhabited by Turkish now. The village is popular for beautiful traditional houses and fruit flavoured wine production; and you will have a free time for some wine tasting. On the way we will visit one of the famous leather production centers of the region, where you will have the opportunity to get a good factory rate. On this guided tour, you will avoid the constant nagging and sometimes bullying that is well known in the markets of Turkey. Enabling you to enjoy the shopping experience whilst gaining the knowledge of the ancient craftsmen. After the tour transfer back to your hotel in Didim.

(Breakfast and lunch included) After breakfast, we take our guests from the hotel and depart to a local restaurant for your professional cooking lesson. You participate in your first Turkish cooking lesson: Although Didim is a district rich in natural beauty, it is also famous for its cuisine. Tarhana Soup, Stuffed Grape Leaves with Olive Oil which made with spices and rice wrapped in grape leaves and Fresh Fish. Another important food is the Fig dessert, which is made widely in the province of Didim. After lunch you will depart to city center for free time and shopping before returning to your hotel. After the tour drop back to your hotel. Overnight in Didim.

(Breakfast included) After Breakfast, We will pick you up from hotel to Hamam (Turkish Bath). Turkish Bath is quite a popular part of Turkish culture and it is being practiced all around the country therefore it will be nice to experience this activity. Depending on your wish and the available hours of Hamam. After the Hamam we will depart to city center for free time and shopping before returning to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight in Didim.

(Breakfast included) After breakfast the day is yours till your departure transfer to Milas Airport. We will transfer you to Airport and you will flight back home.
