About this tour
The Palace Museum is located at No. 4 Jingshanqian Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing. It is a national first-class museum built on the basis of the Forbidden City, the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties.
Architectural Features
The Palace Museum covers an area of approximately 720,000 square meters, with a construction area of about 150,000 square meters and 9,371 rooms. Its buildings are symmetrically distributed along the central axis, including the three main halls (Hall of Supreme Harmony, Hall of Central Harmony, Hall of Preserving Harmony) and the three rear palaces (Palace of Heavenly Purity, Hall of Union, Palace of Earthly Tranquility). There are intricately structured watchtowers at the four corners of the city wall, and a 52-meter-wide moat surrounds the outer city. With a magnificent overall layout, it is the largest and best-preserved ancient imperial palace complex extant in China.

- Disbandment will be around 12:00 / 16:00 at the current location (near the Shenwu Gate of the Palace Museum). You will disband on your own, marking the happy end of the trip.

The admission fee for the main entrance of the Palace Museum
Mainland Chinese tourists must use their Resident ID Cards to place orders; orders placed with passports will not allow entry to the Palace Museum.
Chinese tourists from Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan regions can use their (Taiwan Compatriot Travel Permits or Mainland Travel Permits for Hong Kong and Macau Residents).
For foreign guests booking tickets for children:
- You must select the adult ticket price when placing the order.
- If you select the child ticket price, you will need to make up the difference for the ticket on-site.
