After breakfast we will drive to the Imbabura province, stopping on the way for pictures. We will continue up to el Lechero Tree trail to start our hike down to Otavalo city, passing by Peguche waterfall (the hike takes roughly 2 hours). After we arrive in Otavalo, you will have plenty of time to visit the Indian market, lunch, and explore the town on your own.

We will travel to the entrance of Cotacachi Cayapas Ecological Reserve, at 10,000 ft. At the Reserve´s entrance, we will begin our hike around Cuicocha Lake. This hike is approximately 8 miles, and takes anywhere from 3 to 5 hours. With some luck, we will see Condors flying near the cliffs during the walk.

There is a nice place to stop during the hike and enjoy our box lunch. We will then continue to the end of the trail, where we will board our bus to Cotacachi, also known as The Leather Town, where you can peruse thousands of leather articles.

Finally drive back to Quito for overnight

Today, we will travel from Otavalo to Cotopaxi National Park, and, along the way, you will have the chance to admire the well-known Avenue of the Volcanoes – there are several sites for pictures.

In the Park, we will visit the museum, so as to learn more about the hiking trails, and the flora and fauna endemic to the Andes. Once our hiking ends, we will venture to our hotel near Lasso Village.

This morning, we will take a beautiful drive to Baños city, where we will take the bikes and peddle to the Avenue of the Waterfalls. We will continue to Rio Verde village, where the most beautiful waterfall is located (Pailon Del Diablo); the water for this waterfall flows from the Llanganates National Park.

We will then hike to the base of Pailon Del Diablo to admire the impressive water drop. We will take some time for lunch, and finally we will head back to Baños city for the night.

We will drive to Cumanda village, this is going to be the starting of the Rafting tour down to Pastaza River (it is 10 miles total, it will take around 2 hours )

Finally it is time to drive 2 more hours to an impresive jungle lodge near by Tena City and in front of Napo River.

You will be imprese by this wonderful lodge service, at night we will have dinner included, then finally briefing. You can continue enjoying the night at the Hotel Bar.... By the way the altitud at this point will be 1,200 ft.

Waking up with the noise of the jungle wildlife is something that is considered a welcome to the most diverse forest in world. After breakfast we will take a motor canoe ride on Napo River visiting some villages like Misahually known as The Monkeys Town (there is Capuchin Monkeys all over the place), then we will continue the canoe ride to Arajuno River, finally you will visit the AMAZOONICO Rescue Center, where you can see some animals from the jungle such as: parrots, parroquets, macaws, ocelots, snakes, caimans and a lot of different type of monkeys (you will walk around the place with a local guide getting to know more about the forest and the conservation projects). Then we will have a picnic lunch near then shore of Arajuno River. After lunch we will take a motor canoe ride for 2 hours enjoying the landscapes and nature, then we will stop at Tiyu Yaku Kichwa Comunity, where you will see all about their way of living, ceramic and local cuisine. Finally few minutes by canoe back to the hotel for overnight and briefing.

On this day we will depart early towards Archidona Town at the food market you will try the famous ChontaCuro or Jungle Prawns, to get enough energy to visit The Jungle Caverns.

The Caverns are located near by this town, this ones were natural created by millons of years and a lot of water filtered from the surface. this tour under the Caves takes approx. 1 hour and you have to be ready to get all wet and admire those impresive stalactites.

Then you will enjoy a typical lunch near by the place , after this we will drive to Papallacta village for relax and enjoy the rest of the afternoon admiring the landscapes or having a massage at the Resort SPA.
