It is also popular for Tibetan Jewelry, hand-woven carpets, thanka, masks, khukuri, knives, and more Tibetan products.

Continue towards, Patan Durbar Square- the center of Fine art. Patan Durbar Square and as you walk past the whitewashed gate, you enter a square lined with cafes, grocery stores and huge iron bells. Still beyond the alleys lie mostly medieval neighborhoods of the city. Temples and Stupas are in abundance, in various shapes, sizes and antiquity. Overnight in Kathmandu

After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing covering Kathmandu Durbar Square, the former palace of old Malla and Shah kings. It is place with ancient palaces with spectacular art and architecture of Newar people over the centuries. Visit Kumari Ghar where the living goddess resides and you are lucky you will get a glimpse of Kumari.

Once you are back at the base, continue visit towards Swoyambhunath Stupa meaning the "the self-existent" is popular among foreigners owing to the large monkey population residing in the area. No wonder why it’s also called “Monkey Temple”. Make sure you keep an eye out for these notorious creatures. Return back to hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu.
