Kathmandu Valley Cultural Tour

9:00 AM – Pick Up from Your Hotel

Your tour guide and driver will meet you at your hotel. After a short briefing about the day’s plan, you’ll begin your cultural journey through the heart of the Kathmandu Valley.

9:30 AM – Visit Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple)

Start your day with a short drive to Swayambhunath, perched on a hill overlooking the city. This ancient Buddhist stupa, adorned with prayer flags and the all-seeing eyes of Buddha, offers panoramic views of Kathmandu. Walk around the stupa, spin the prayer wheels, and feel the peaceful atmosphere mixed with the playful energy of monkeys.

11:00 AM – Explore Pashupatinath Temple

Next, drive to Pashupatinath, Nepal’s most sacred Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Located on the banks of the Bagmati River, this site is both spiritual and deeply cultural. You’ll see holy men (sadhus), temples, and cremation ghats — offering a glimpse into Nepal’s Hindu traditions and beliefs.

12:30 PM – Lunch Break

Enjoy a traditional Nepali or continental lunch at a local restaurant near Boudhanath or Thamel area.

1:30 PM – Visit Boudhanath Stupa

After lunch, visit Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest and most significant Buddhist stupas in Asia. Walk around the massive white dome with monks and pilgrims, observe prayer wheels and butter lamps, and soak in the peaceful spiritual energy.

3:00 PM – Explore Kathmandu Durbar Square

Conclude your day with a visit to Kathmandu Durbar Square, the historical heart of the city. Admire the ancient royal palace, courtyards, temples, and the Kumari Ghar — home of the Living Goddess. Stroll through the old alleys to witness traditional Newari architecture and local life

5:00 PM – Return to Hotel

After the sightseeing tour, your guide and driver will drop you back at your hotel.
