The Park is famous for its rich biodiversity including elephants, buffaloes, lions, hippos and over 600 bird species. Key safari highlights include game drives in the Kasenyi plains and boat cruises along the Kazinga Channel where animals gather at the water’s edge. Semuliki National Park lies in the Albertine Rift Valley near the border with the Democratic Republic of Congo and is known for its tropical rainforest ecosystem and the spectacular Sempaya hot springs. The park also hosts unique Central African bird and primate species. This 5-day safari combines wildlife viewing, cultural experiences, geothermal wonders, and relaxing town nightlife in western Uganda.
