Around the manor, Chavchavadze laid out one of Georgia's first landscaped parks in the English style, planting more than a hundred species of trees and shrubs gathered from botanical gardens abroad. The park's paths, ponds and century-old trees still shade the grounds and remain open to visitors alongside the house.

Winemaking at Tsinandali

The estate produced wine using both the traditional qvevri method, fermenting in buried clay vessels, and the European oak-barrel techniques Chavchavadze introduced after his travels, an early blend of the two traditions that shaped Kakheti's wine industry. The cellar beneath the manor still holds historic bottles, and tastings are typically included as part of a visit.

The Tsinandali Festival

Each summer the estate hosts the Tsinandali Festival, a classical music program held in an open-air amphitheater on the grounds that draws international orchestras and soloists to the park for several weeks of concerts.
