Experience a delightful and authentic evening at a traditional, cozy Mykonian residence known as “Mykonian Spiti”, where the friendly hostess Teta will warmly welcome you. This intimate gathering will be one of the most memorable moments of your visit to the “Island of the Winds”.Teta will share insights about Mykonian culture and history, telling stories from her family’s past while making you feel like you are spending time with close friends or relatives. She will also introduce you to the local lifestyle as you enjoy traditional Mykonian meze snacks paired with Cretan raki.Afterward, move into the kitchen area to learn how to prepare classic dishes such as tzatziki, spinach pie, stuffed peppers, and tomatoes, along with other traditional recipes from the Mykonian Spiti menu. Guests will be provided with protective aprons from the Mykonian Spiti estate. Most of the ingredients will already be prepared and placed in designated bowls inside the kitchen, ready for cooking. Teta will demonstrate each step of the process, allowing everyone to participate and improve their cooking techniques. A short break will be scheduled between the preparation and tasting stages so you can relax and enjoy the pleasant company around you. Afterwards, the meal begins, giving you the chance to eat and savor the food to your heart’s content.

The third day opens the doors to Skyrian craftsmanship and flavors. We start with a visit to a ceramics workshop, where you’ll discover the art behind Skyros’ distinctive pottery, followed by a stop at a woodcarver’s atelier, learning about the intricate tradition of wood carving. Later, you may unwind at a hidden southern beach, far from the crowds while the rest of the second day is free. At the fourth day you will have the chance to taste and cook authentic Skyrian dishes alongside locals and visit a local winery for a sip of the island’s character. This unique experience blends culture, nature, and hospitality into a heartfelt encounter with the authentic Skyros — a journey you’ll remember long after your stay at Maestralia.
