The Llanganuco Lakes are situated in the Cordillera Blanca, in the Andes of Peru, located at 3850masl, the turquoise water from the glaciers of Huascaran and Huandoy, these lakes are visited by lots of tourists having easy access on it. 

The archaeological site of Chavín de Huántar sits at an elevation of 3,177m (10,425ft) above sea level in the Peruvian Andes and is located at the confluence of the Mosna and Wacheksa rivers. Chavín once intersected several major trade routes through the Cordillera Blanca mountain range, a strategic location for the capital of the Chavín civilization. The site is located near the Callejón de Huáyla Valley where the village of Chavín de Huántar is located. Chavín is now served by a recently-upgraded, asphalt roadway. Covering 12,000 sq m (129,167 sq ft), the site includes massive temple structures with significant interior and subterranean space, pyramidal platforms, courts, and sunken plaza spaces, most of which are aligned on a common axis. Over time, river floods have eroded much of this stone architecture; its mountainous location has also made it susceptible to destructive landslides (as recent as 1945) and earthquakes (as recent as 1970) over the centuries.

MATEO MOUNTAIN CLIMBING Mateo Mountain in the Cordillera Blanca and Huascaran National Park become popular in the 20’s easy access and summiting, this small mountain of 5170masl is easy to reach by the paved highway that goes from Carhuaz to Chacas. Lake 69 is the most beautiful lake in the Cordillera Blanca and become popular by its easy reach in just a one day hike. ROCOTUYOC GLACIAR LAKE FULL DAY TOURDESCRIPTION: This marvelous and wonderful lake Rocotuyoc is located in the white mountain range and Huascaran National Park, to complete this tour starts in Huaraz at First Class Huaraz office, and going to north side highway for about 40km, in the way there are several typical villages featuring Andes villages in the skirts of the white mountains, when the weather allows the Peruvian high mountain can be seen from the road and passengers make photo stop. Arriving to small district of Marcara minibus turns into the little picturesque valley of Vicos, in they way is the control and entrance for this community where one can purchase community entrance tickets, after that the first impression you will take is the wonderful cascade; photo stop for about half hour and continue into the valley in the way almost to arrive to the lake visit and appreciate the petroglyphic pains, then arrive to the Lake and start your adventure shooting and continue hiking along the lake to next one for about 30 minutes, get to the second lake where you will experience the color lake with small icebergs, stay here in the lakes by your own to enjoy and back the same way to the car, early afternoon back the same way to Marcara for Lunch, after return to Huaraz arriving around 6pm in the afternoon and drop-off at our office downtown Huaraz.

The Huayhuash range is 30km long and has Himalayan features and its peaks are morphologically speaking, much more hilly and have more difficult access than those form the Cordillera Blanca, aligned north to south, the main range of some twenty peaks stretches for approximately 15km. with a subsidiary range of smaller peaks stretching out to the west for approximately 15km. six of the peaks exceed 6000m. Included among them are Yerupaja 6617m, the second highest mountain in Peru behind Huascaran at 6768m, and Siula 6344m. made famous by the film Touching the Void The area is barely populated at all, with what hamlets there are being very small and generally only found below 4000m. the snowline is found at approximately 4,800m. the nearest villages are Chiquian 3400m and Cajatambo 3375m, some mining takes place in the area, so the north of the mountains there is an unsurfaced road leading up to as high as 4750m. in 2002 the Peruvian Ministery of Agriculture declared the Huayhuash mountain range a “reserved zone” and prohibited certain economic activities, including any future mining.

Located in the south part of the Cordillera Blanca, its one of the glaciers left in the tropical areas of South America; the glacier is around 8 square kms in size, and around 4km long with a terrestrial snow ending, the glacier is retreating quickly, it has lost 22% of its size and 15.5% on its ice mass in the last 30 years. The glacier occupies an Andean peak around 5250masl and so has steep, cliff like edges, with heavily crevassed areas characteristic of a chirque glacier.
