You are warmly picked up from Entebbe International Airport or your hotel in Kampala early in the morning, and your unforgettable safari adventure begins. The journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park takes you through Uganda’s beautiful countryside, passing rolling hills, small villages, tea and banana plantations, and the occasional glimpse of wildlife along the way. After an early breakfast at the lodge, you begin your gorilla trekking adventure in the heart of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to nearly half of the world’s mountain gorilla population. Accompanied by experienced trackers and a guide, you hike through dense forest, over moss-covered trails and past towering ancient trees, listening to the sounds of the forest and the calls of various bird species.

The excitement builds as you locate a gorilla family, spending up to an hour observing these incredible primates in their natural habitat. You watch mothers caring for infants, silverbacks leading the group, and juveniles playing among the trees. This once-in-a-lifetime encounter is filled with awe-inspiring moments and unparalleled photographic opportunities. After the trek, you return to Rujogo Lodge for a hearty lunch, followed by some relaxation on the lodge terrace, taking in the spectacular views of the forested hills and the surrounding wilderness. Dinner is served at the lodge in the evening.
