Itinerary

Your adventure begins upon arrival at Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where you'll be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel. After checking in, you can explore Nairobi’s attractions, such as the Giraffe Centre or David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, where you can meet orphaned elephants. Enjoy a relaxing evening before an exciting safari begins.

After an early breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Amboseli National Park, known for its large elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive, where you’ll spot elephants, zebras, giraffes, and a variety of bird species. Enjoy the evening in the serene park environment and overnight at your lodge.

Wake up early for a morning game drive, a prime time to catch wildlife in action, especially elephants and predators against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. After breakfast, enjoy an afternoon game drive or visit Observation Hill for panoramic views of the park. This is a perfect day to explore the park’s diverse wildlife and expansive landscapes.

After breakfast, head to Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its flamingo population and rhino sanctuary. Upon arrival, check into your lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive. In addition to flamingos, the park is home to rhinos, lions, giraffes, and a variety of bird species. The stunning views of the lake and surrounding landscapes make this a picturesque safari stop.

Today, you'll travel to the world-renowned Maasai Mara Game Reserve, famous for its diverse wildlife and the Great Migration (seasonal). Upon arrival, check into your lodge or camp, then head out for an exciting afternoon game drive. You’ll have the chance to spot lions, elephants, buffaloes, cheetahs, and more in the vast plains of the Mara.

Spend the day exploring Maasai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. The reserve is home to the Big Five, and during the migration period (typically July to October), you may witness the awe-inspiring Great Migration of wildebeest and zebras. For a unique experience, you can opt for a hot-air balloon safari at dawn, offering breathtaking aerial views of the Mara.

After an early breakfast, depart for Lake Naivasha, a beautiful freshwater lake located in the Great Rift Valley. Upon arrival, enjoy a boat ride on the lake, where you’ll have the chance to spot hippos, pelicans, and other bird species. You can also visit Crescent Island for a walking safari among giraffes, zebras, and antelopes. The peaceful setting offers a perfect contrast to the previous days of thrilling wildlife sightings.

On the final day of your safari, depart Lake Naivasha and head back to Nairobi. Depending on your flight time,  Your guide will transfer you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure, marking the end of your unforgettable 8-day safari through Kenya’s most famous parks.
