Cayo Arena Paradise Island Speedboat & Snorkeling Tour from Hotels

Discover Cayo Arena, also known as Paradise Island, on a full-day journey from the Puerto Plata hotel area. Travel to Punta Rucia and take a speedboat to the sandbar, where turquoise water, reef snorkeling and beach time await.

Spend approximately three hours at the island, then cruise through the mangroves and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. A guide, speedboat trip, snorkeling equipment, island refreshments of rum, soft drinks and fruit, lunch and shared hotel transfers are included. The indicative schedule is around 7:30 AM–5:00 PM; your exact hotel time is confirmed before departure.

Practical information

Bring swimwear, a towel, dry clothes, secure footwear and sun protection. Follow the crew or activity staff’s instructions and tell them before entering the water if you cannot swim. Water activities depend on local conditions.

Hotel pickup and booking

Shared excursion, available on request. Provide your hotel name when booking. Pickup and return are included for hotels between Sosua and Maimon, including Puerto Plata and Playa Dorada. Meet the transfer in your hotel’s main lobby at the time confirmed before departure; return is to the same hotel. Minimum reservation: two participants.

Cancellation

Cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled tour start for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start are non-refundable.
