Damajagua Waterfalls & Countryside Horseback Ride from Puerto Plata

Discover the waterfalls and rural landscapes of Puerto Plata in one shared outdoor adventure. Walk through tropical forest and explore the operating Damajagua waterfall route, then enjoy a guided countryside horseback ride.

Admission to Damajagua, the horseback riding activity and round-trip hotel transfers are included. Allow approximately seven hours for the full excursion. Meals are not included. The waterfall circuit, riding trail and activity order depend on local conditions.

Practical information

Minimum age: 8 for this combined tour, including the Damajagua waterfall circuit. The guide checks rider suitability before the horseback activity.

Bring swimwear, a towel, dry clothes, secure footwear and sun protection. Follow the crew or activity staff’s instructions and tell them before entering the water if you cannot swim. Water activities depend on local conditions.

Hotel pickup and booking

Shared excursion, available on request. Provide your hotel name when booking. Pickup and return are included for hotels between Sosua and Maimon, including Puerto Plata and Playa Dorada. Meet the transfer in your hotel’s main lobby at the time confirmed before departure; return is to the same hotel. Minimum reservation: two participants.

Cancellation

Cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled tour start for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start are non-refundable.
