Puerto Plata Dune Buggy Tour from Maimon with Hotel Pickup

Follow countryside trails, rural villages, mountain paths and river crossings on a guided buggy adventure in Maimon, starting from the Super Buggy Maimon base. Pause at a traditional Dominican country house in Maimon for a cultural break before returning to the base along the trails. Allow approximately 2.5 hours.

The package includes a two-person automatic buggy, safety helmet and briefing, bilingual guides, bottled water, light refreshments and round-trip air-conditioned hotel transfers. Bandanas or goggles, professional photos, gratuities and personal purchases are excluded.

Practical information

Passengers must be at least 3. Drivers must be at least 14; drivers under 18 require signed parental authorization. The operator does not require a driving licence. Reserve an even number of participants (2, 4, 6 and so on), with two people sharing each buggy. The price is per person. Large bookings are divided among multiple vehicles and guide-led groups; operating assignments are confirmed for the reservation.

Wear closed shoes and clothes that can get dusty, wet or muddy. Bring sun protection and a change of clothes. Follow the guide’s instructions and the operating route.

Hotel pickup and booking

Shared excursion, available on request. Provide your hotel name when booking. Pickup and return are included for hotels between Sosua and Maimon, including Puerto Plata and Playa Dorada. Meet the transfer in your hotel’s main lobby at the time confirmed before departure; return is to the same hotel. Minimum reservation: two participants.

Cancellation

Cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled tour start for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start are non-refundable.
