Itinerary
Early morning departure from Adelaide, where our private, air-conditioned vehicle will pick you up. We’ll board the ferry to Kangaroo Island, enjoying scenic views as we cross the Backstairs Passage. On arrival, we’ll head to the Penneshaw Pub for lunch. After lunch we head to Christmas Cove for your 75 min Ocean Safari Tour before we then do a scenic drive around Penneshaw. We will stop by the Penneshaw Penguin Centre to show you where it is, as your tour is at 09:00pm and a short 5 min walk from your accommodation. We then head to the Seafront Hotel for check-in. After settling in, enjoy free time to explore Penneshaw or relax. At 08:50pm, make your way down to the Penneshaw Penguin Centre for your tour.
After breakfast, we’ll start our day with a guided tour of Pennington Bay, followed by a visit to Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery for a cider tasting and tour. We then head to Seal Bay Conservation Park for a Guided Beach Tour. After that, we head to Kangaroo Island Spirits for some gin tasting and relation time before heading to Kangaroo Island Brewery for some craft beer tasting. Finally we head to Bay of Shoal Wines for some spectacular views while wine tasting before head to our accommodation in Kingscote
Today, we start our day with a drive to Stokes Bay where you can walk through the rock formations which open to a gorgeous beach. We’ll then head to Flinders Chase National Park, home to the iconic Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch, before visiting Cape Du Couedic Lighthouse. After a scenic stop at Vivonne Bay and a visit to Kangaroo Island Wool, we then head back to your accommodation in Kingscote for a relaxing evening.
Start your day with morning tea at Emu Bay Lavender Farm then we'll head to Emu Bay where you can see for yourself why this beach is so special. From there, we head to Raptor Domain where you will enjou a 1 hour Birds of Prey Bird Show. We then head out to Clifford's Honey and back into Island Beehive where you can sample honey products including the Honey Mead. You’ll then have fee time for local exploration in Kingscote enjoying a free afternoon. Tonight, relax at your accommodation and enjoy your last night before we checkout in the morning.
On the final day, we’ll make our way back to Penneshaw, with a drive through of American River before heading to Cape Willoughby, False Cape Wines and Dudley Wines. We then head to the ferry terminal to catch the return ferry to Adelaide, where we’ll say our goodbyes and drop you off at your preferred location.

For the next three nights, settle into the Ozone Hotel in Kingscote (other options may be chosen according to availability), set along the scenic waterfront. This well-appointed hotel offers ocean views, comfortable rooms, and an on-site restaurant serving fresh, local produce. Located in the island’s largest town, it's the ideal base for exploration.
