After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full-day excursion to Alchi. Visit the 1,000-year-old Alchi Monastery, the only gompa in the Ladakh region built on flat ground. En route, stop at the Hall of Fame Museum and Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, followed by a visit to Magnetic Hill, the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers, and Spituk Monastery. Also, see the magnificent statue of Maitreya Buddha at Likir Monastery. After completing your guided tour, drive back to Leh for overnight stay. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities.

Overnight at Hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and drive to Nubra Valley, crossing Khardung La Pass, the world’s highest motorable pass. Upon arrival in Nubra, check in to your pre-booked camp for overnight stay. After freshening up, explore Nubra Valley, including Hunder Village and Diskit Monastery. Enjoy a double-humped camel safari on the sand dunes, which lie near the India-Tibet border. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities.

Overnight at Camp.

In the morning, before breakfast, visit Diskit Monastery to attend the morning prayers with the monks. Return to your camp for breakfast and enjoy some leisure time. Later, check out and drive back to Leh, following the same route via Khardung La Pass. Upon arrival in Leh, check in to your pre-booked hotel for overnight stay. After breakfast at the hotel, check out and drive to Pangong Lake, crossing Chang La Pass at 17,500 ft. En route, make short visits to Durbuk and Tangtse Village in the Changthang region of Ladakh. Upon arrival at Pangong Tso, check in to your pre-booked camp for overnight stay. After freshening up, visit Pangong Lake, the world’s highest saltwater lake, which is shared between India and China. Spend some quality time at the lake’s serene banks. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities.

After breakfast at the camp, check out and drive to Tso Moriri, the “hidden gem of Leh Ladakh,” passing through Chushul, Mahe Bridge, and Tsaga villages. En route, make a short visit to Chumathang to see the hot springs. Upon arrival at Tso Moriri, check in to your pre-booked camp for overnight stay. After freshening up, visit Tso Moriri Lake (28 km long and about 8 km wide), which serves as a breeding ground for many migratory birds, including the rare bar-headed geese. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities.

Overnight at Camp.

After breakfast at the camp, check out and drive back to Leh. En route, visit Tso Kar Lake, the Monastery at Thukje Village, and Puga Geo-Thermal Gas Springs. Stop to see the nomadic Rebo tents at Polo Kongka Pass and continue to explore Tso Kar Lake, a significant wetland area. Upon arrival in Leh, check in to your pre-booked hotel for overnight stay. After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full-day guided tour of Leh. Visit Stok Village and the Royal Stok Museum. Explore the summer palace of the erstwhile Maharajas of Ladakh, Shey Palace, as well as Thiksey Monastery, which houses a 100 ft tall statue of Maitreya Buddha, and Hemis Monastery, the largest monastery in Ladakh.
