Dilijan Tours

Dilijan National Park

Hiking trails wind through beech and oak forest toward viewpoints over the valley, and the park's cooler climate makes it a popular summer escape from Yerevan's heat.

Haghartsin and Goshavank Monasteries

Two of the region's most significant monasteries lie within a short drive of Dilijan. Haghartsin, about 18 kilometers away, dates to the 13th century and was extensively restored in the 2010s, its stone domes set against thick forest. Goshavank, roughly 23 kilometers in the opposite direction, was built in the 12th and 13th centuries and named after the medieval scholar Mkhitar Gosh, who is buried nearby.

Sharambeyan Street and the Old Town

Dilijan's old quarter, centered on Sharambeyan Street, preserves rows of traditional houses with carved wooden balconies, many now home to small artisan workshops selling pottery, wood carving and other crafts, part of a craft revival program that has helped keep the buildings in use. It is a compact area, easily covered on foot in an hour or two.
