After pickup from your hotel or apartment, we'll drive through lush, unspoiled landscapes dotted with dazzling white villages, which make up the Alpujarra region of Granada. We'll pass terraced hillsides filled with olive groves, vineyards, and almond and citrus groves.The area has a fascinating historical legacy and is known throughout Spain for the medicinal qualities of its waters. The Alpujarra is a large valley that stretches westward between the southern foothills of the Sierra Nevada, Sierra de Lújar, Contraviesa, and Gádor mountains, with the Mediterranean coast on its southern side. We'll visit Lanjarón. This spa town is famous for its numerous springs, each accompanied by a quote or poem by Federico García Lorca. Afterward, we'll continue past Órgiva, the regional capital. Our first stop will be Capileira, one of the highest villages in Spain, where we'll wander through its narrow streets lined with whitewashed houses. A maze of winding streets will allow us to discover the unique "tinaos" architecture, a characteristic feature of the entire region.We continue our journey to Pampaneira, where we'll stop to enjoy a traditional Alpujarra meal. You'll have free time to explore this typical Moorish-style village filled with narrow, winding streets, flat roofs, and distinctive chimneys, as well as visit a traditional loom where the famous "jarapas" are made.Before returning to Granada, we'll visit Lanjarón and the historic center to discover the city of springs.NOT SUITABLE FOR PEOPLE IN WHEELCHAIRS WITH REDUCED MOBILITY

Visit Trevélez, the highest town in the Alpujarras, in the heart of the Sierra Nevada, and enjoy the experience of knowing one of its main attractions: the ham drying process. Discover the most unique corners of the Alpujarra and its incredible architecture and history. What awaits youWe will start by heading towards Lanjarón, making the first stop at the historic Nasrid Bridge of Tablate. At this point, we will understand the relationship of the Moriscos with the Alpujarra and its importance in our history. Later, we leave for a unique viewpoint from where we can contemplate the Poqueira Valley, the Guadalfeo Valley and the Sierra Nevada. Possibly you will take from here one of the best photos of your vacations, without a doubt a unique enclave in the visit. Next, we will discover the interesting Fuente Agria Spring and the Chorrerón in Pórtugos, a source of water rich in minerals and that we will have the possibility to taste, cold and natural, as it flows from the spring. We will walk down to Chorrerón and enjoy some impressive natural waterfalls. Then we will begin the ascent towards Trevélez, one of the highest villages in Spain. There, we will visit an authentic Alpujarran ham drying factory, knowing first-hand the process of making one of the most famous products in Spain. Later, they will offer us an exquisite tasting. Following our previous route and through impressive landscapes, we will arrive at Pampaneira, included within the network of the Most Beautiful Towns in Spain and one of the most representative of the Alpujarra. You will also have free time for a coffee before returning to Granada.
