Guided sightseeing tour of the city center, including visit to Alexander Nevski Cathedral - one of the largest Eastern Orthodox cathedrals in Europe, as well as one of Sofia’s symbols and a primary tourist attraction; the old Parliament Building, the National Theatre, former Royal Palace, Presidency, Saint Sofia Basilica, the Saint George Rotunda (one of the oldest churches in Europe), the Roman Remains and other important historical buildings.

Sightseeing tour in the Old Town, including a visit to the Roman Ancient Theatre, which was build in the 2nd century AD under the rule of the Emperor Trajan, visit to the picturesque old town streets and beautiful houses, St. Constantine and Helena Church, etc. Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views from one of the ancient hills. Free time for lunch and shopping. Departure to Sofia in the late afternoon.

Departure for Rila Monastery - the most exquisite example of the monastery art and architecture in Bulgaria, UNESCO heritage site. Guided tour of the monastery complex. Visit to Nativity of the Virgin Church with its miracle icon of the Virgin. On the way back to Sofia – stop and visit of the Boyana Church – another UNESCO heritage site, famous for its 13- century frescoes.
