Passing through the first Himalayan national park of Nepal, Langtang National Park (1,710 sq. km). Exploration close to the base of the magnificent Himalayan peak, Langtang Lirung (7,246 meters). Itinerary

On arrival, get received by our staff and guide and transfer to your respective hotels in the hub of Kathmandu. After checking into your lovely rooms, get refreshed from jet-leg. Then join in with other members of Langtang Valley Trek.

Our guide/leader will brief us with information about the hotels-including detail of trekking regarding the local lodge, walks, views, history, and culture. Simultaneously, with a few critical do’s and don’ts while you are with us, have enjoyable times.

The evening includes a nice dinner in a pleasant Nepalese restaurant with local cultural programs. Remember, the next day morning will be a Kathmandu sight-seen tour.

Today, you will embark on a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu to explore its rich cultural and historical heritage. Visit UNESCO World Heritage sites like Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Stupa, and Pashupatinath Temple, and immerse yourself in the local culture. In the afternoon, meet your trekking guide for a briefing on the Langtang Valley Trek and prepare your gear and essentials for the trek.


Early morning start with scenic and interesting drive beyond north of Kathmandu valley. Where journey leads on winding road past many farm villages and towns within warm areas of Trisuli and Nuwakot district.

As drive continues head uphill within cooler country to reach at Dhunche, headquarter town of Rasuwa district within Langtang Himal. Also it is a starting point for Langtang National Park. From here downhill to our overnight stop at Syabrubesi within Tamang tribe Village.

Our first day trek starts after a hearty breakfast, walking to cross a small bridge and uphill climb to a hill within farm villages. As walk continues head into cool shade of rhododendron-magnolia and pine trees. Then finally reaching  Lama Hotel for overnight in this small village.

Today’s walk leads to  climb within deep forest. So, rare and endangered wild-life are often seen on treks. The wildlife like of Red-Panda with other mountain antelopes including different species of birds are visible.

Walk carries on to reach at nice spot of Ghoretabla, with time for possible lunch break. This is located in the midst of lovely alpine forest. From here few hours of walk takes to our overnight destination at Langtang village, a nice area within a gorge and tree lines.

This village and around Rasuwa area was badly damaged from avalanches due to big Nepal Earthquake 2015. The devastating earthquake that shook mid-east and mid-west of Nepal in April 25th and May 15th 2015. Now, the village is slowly returning back to normal life as it was before.

Morning from Langtang village a short steep climb takes to good trails entering into a wide valley.This valley is enclosed with giant peaks of Langtang on reaching at Kyanjin for lunch and overnight stop.

The few hours walk takes to highest point of the journey at Kyanjin located within beautiful Langtang valley. Enjoy close views of Langtang Lirung glacier and range of peaks that surrounds this wonderful spot.

A rest day is managed at Kyanjin in trek to Langtang valley. On this day take a short hike to close scenic hill top of Tsego-Ri or Kyanjin Ri. Which offers magnificent panorama of Ganesh Himal (7,405 m), Langtang Lirung (7,234 m), Ghengu Liru (Langtang II  6,571m), Kimshun (6,745 m) and Shalbachum(6,918m) towards south Chimsedang. Also, arrays of peaks includes Naya-Kanga (5,846m) and Gangchempo, Tilman’s beautiful Fluted Peak, Jugal Himal and ending to eastern horizon at Dorje Lakpa (6,980m).

Rest of the afternoon will be leisure. So, marvel the views of lovely surrounding in the comfort of nice lodge and warm hospitality of the local Tamang. They are the villagers of Kyanjin and around Langtang areas.

With lovely moments in Langtang valley at Kyanjin, morning walks leads back on the same trail. So you will get enough time for views that you might have missed on the way up to Kyanjin.

Then walk takes back into farm villages of Langtang and passing Ghoretabla within dense rhododendron and bamboo forest. The main aim is to reach at Lama Hotel for overnight stops.Which is in the midst of wonderful green surroundings, located in a river gorge of upper Trisuli or Langtang Khola.

With last day of the journey, walk downhill into forest and pass spread-out farm villages. As walk leads on winding path, short descend to a bridge over Bhote-Kosi River or Upper Trisuli River. Then on pleasant trails  reach at Syabrubesi village for final overnight within Langtang Himal region.

Depending upon the size of the group, travel by coach or in a private car to reach Kathmandu. The morning after breakfast at Syabrubesi, the drive leads you to a busy and exciting highway past farm villages and towns to arrive in Kathmandu.

On reaching Kathmandu,  go back to your respective hotels. You will get time in the afternoon for leisure or personal activities and shopping.

Finally all good things must come to an end with grand memories and exciting experience on Langtang Valley trekking. With last final day in Nepal, our staff and guide transfer you to Kathmandu international airport for your flight home or to respective countries.
